Tanya Landman
Tanya Landman is an award-winning British author of historical fiction and non-fiction for children and young adults. She has written over 30 books, including Carnegie Medal-winning Buffalo Soldier and Carnegie Honor-winning Apache. Her work has been translated into over 20 languages and she has won numerous awards, including the Red House Children’s Book Award, the Lancashire Book of the Year Award, and the YA Book Prize. She is also a passionate advocate for diversity in children’s literature and has been a judge for the CILIP Carnegie and Kate Greenaway Medals. She is currently working on her next book, a historical novel set in the American West.
