ACT
ACT (formerly American College Testing) is a standardized test used for college admissions in the United States. It is a multiple-choice, pencil-and-paper test administered by ACT, Inc. The ACT consists of four sections: English, Mathematics, Reading, and Science. Each section is scored on a scale of 1-36, with the composite score being the average of the four sections. The ACT is accepted by all four-year colleges and universities in the United States as part of the admissions process. It is also used to determine eligibility for scholarships and other awards. The ACT is a valuable tool for students to demonstrate their academic abilities and to help them prepare for college.
