H. P. Willmott
H. P. Willmott is a renowned British historian and author. He is best known for his works on the history of the Second World War, including his seminal work, The War for the Pacific: 1941-1945. He has also written extensively on the history of the British Empire, the Cold War, and the history of the United States. He has been a professor of history at the University of London since 1975 and is a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society. He has received numerous awards for his work, including the Order of the British Empire in 2002. He is a highly respected historian and his works are widely read and studied.
