Tilman Fertitta is an American businessman and entrepreneur. He is the owner of the Houston Rockets of the National Basketball Association (NBA), Landry's, Inc., and the Golden Nugget Casinos and Hotels. He is also the star of the CNBC reality show Billion Dollar Buyer. Fertitta was born in Galveston, Texas, and attended the University of Houston. After graduating, he began working in the restaurant business, eventually taking over his father's seafood restaurant.
