Robert Reich

Robert Reich is an American political commentator, professor, and author. He served as the 22nd United States Secretary of Labor under President Bill Clinton from 1993 to 1997. Reich is currently a professor of public policy at the University of California, Berkeley, and a senior fellow at the Blum Center for Developing Economies. Reich is a prolific writer, having authored 14 books, including the best-selling The Work of Nations, which has been translated into 22 languages. He has also written extensively on economic and social issues for The New Yorker, The Atlantic, The New York Times, The Washington Post, and The Wall Street Journal. Reich is a frequent guest on television and radio programs, including The Rachel Maddow Show, The Daily Show, Real Time with Bill Maher, and The Colbert Report. He is also a frequent contributor to the opinion pages of major newspapers and magazines. Reich is a strong advocate for progressive economic policies, including a higher minimum wage, stronger labor unions, and a more progressive tax system. He has also been a vocal critic of the Trump administration's economic policies, arguing that they favor the wealthy and large corporations over the middle class and working poor.
