Robert Reich is an American political commentator, professor, and author. He served as the 22nd United States Secretary of Labor under President Bill Clinton from 1993 to 1997. Reich is currently a professor of public policy at the University of California, Berkeley, and a senior fellow at the Blum Center for Developing Economies. Reich is a prolific writer, having authored 14 books, including the best-selling The Work of Nations, which has been translated into 22 languages.
