Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie

Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie is a Nigerian author, best known for her novels Half of a Yellow Sun and Americanah. She is a MacArthur Fellow, a recipient of the National Book Critics Circle Award, and a recipient of the Orange Prize for Fiction. Adichie is also a prominent feminist and has written extensively on the subject. Her TED Talk, “We Should All Be Feminists,” has been viewed over six million times and was sampled in Beyoncé’s song “Flawless.” Adichie’s work has been translated into over thirty languages and she has been featured in numerous publications, including The New Yorker, The Guardian, and The New York Times. Adichie is a passionate advocate for the rights of women and girls, and her writing often focuses on the experiences of women in Nigeria and the African diaspora. Her work is both critically acclaimed and widely read, and she is considered one of the most influential contemporary African writers.
