Kelly Richmond Pope

Kelly Richmond Pope is an award-winning documentary filmmaker, professor, and founder of the documentary production company, Edit Center. She is best known for her work on the Emmy-nominated documentary series, "Chicagoland," which aired on CNN. She has also directed and produced several other documentaries, including "The Trials of Muhammad Ali," "The Interrupters," and "The Homestretch." Pope has been recognized for her work with numerous awards, including the Peabody Award, the Alfred I. duPont-Columbia Award, and the George Foster Peabody Award. She has also been honored with the International Documentary Association's Courage Under Fire Award and the International Documentary Association's Career Achievement Award. Pope is a professor at Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism, where she teaches courses in documentary filmmaking and media production.
