Peter H. Diamandis is an American engineer, physician, and entrepreneur best known for his work in the fields of commercial spaceflight and commercial space exploration. He is the founder and executive chairman of the X Prize Foundation, a non-profit organization that encourages technological development through incentivized competitions. He is also the co-founder and executive chairman of Singularity University, a Silicon Valley-based institution that focuses on educating and inspiring leaders to apply exponential technologies to address humanity’s grand challenges. Diamandis is the author of several books, including Abundance: The Future Is Better Than You Think, Bold: How to Go Big, Create Wealth and Impact the World, and The Future Is Faster Than You Think.
