Sabrina Mahfouz
Sabrina Mahfouz is a British poet, playwright, and screenwriter. She is best known for her work in the spoken word scene, having performed at the 2012 London Olympics and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. She has also written for television, including the BBC series "Murdered by My Father".
Mahfouz has published two collections of poetry, "Ace of Base" and "The Clean Collection". Her work has been featured in publications such as The Guardian, The Independent, and The New Statesman. She has also been featured in the anthologies "The Salt Book of Younger Poets" and "The Best British Poetry".
Mahfouz is a passionate advocate for social justice and has written extensively on issues such as gender, race, and class. She is a founding member of the Women of the World Poetry Slam and has been a judge for the Poetry Society's National Poetry Competition.
In addition to her writing, Mahfouz is a sought-after speaker and has given talks at the British Library, the Southbank Centre, and the Royal Festival Hall. She is also a mentor for the Roundhouse Poetry Collective and a patron of the charity Write to Life.
