Kara Goucher is an American long-distance runner who has achieved success at the highest levels of the sport. She is a two-time Olympian, having competed in the 2008 Beijing Olympics and the 2012 London Olympics. She is also a two-time USA Outdoor Champion in the 10,000 meters and a two-time USA Indoor Champion in the 3000 meters. Goucher has won numerous medals at the World Championships, including a bronze medal in the 10,000 meters in 2007. She has also won the USA Cross Country Championships three times. Goucher is a two-time winner of the New York City Half Marathon and the Rock 'n' Roll San Diego Half Marathon. She is currently sponsored by Nike and is a member of the Nike Oregon Project.
