Cathy Rentzenbrink

Cathy Rentzenbrink is a British author, journalist, and public speaker. She is best known for her memoir, The Last Act of Love, which tells the story of her brother's death in a road accident and her family's struggle to cope with the tragedy. She has also written two novels, A Manual for Heartache and The Heart Fix. Rentzenbrink has been a columnist for The Guardian, The Times, and The Sunday Times, and has written for a variety of other publications. She is a regular contributor to BBC Radio 4 and has appeared on television and radio programmes such as Woman's Hour, The Today Programme, and The One Show. Rentzenbrink is a passionate advocate for mental health awareness and has spoken at events such as the Hay Festival, the Edinburgh International Book Festival, and the Cheltenham Literature Festival. She is also a patron of the charity Mind and a trustee of the charity The Reader. In addition to her writing and public speaking, Rentzenbrink is a mentor and coach, helping people to find their own paths to success. She is also a passionate advocate for the power of books and reading, and has been involved in a number of initiatives to promote literacy.
