Nicholas Coleridge

Nicholas Coleridge is a British journalist, author, and businessman. He is the former president of Condé Nast International, the international arm of the American media company Condé Nast. He is also the chairman of the British Fashion Council and a trustee of the Royal Academy of Arts. Coleridge began his career in journalism in the early 1980s, working for the Sunday Times and the Daily Telegraph. He then moved to Condé Nast in 1987, where he held various positions, including editor of British Vogue and managing director of Condé Nast Publications. In 2004, he was appointed president of Condé Nast International, a position he held until 2018. Coleridge has written several books, including The Fashion Conspiracy, a non-fiction book about the fashion industry, and The Book of the Moon, a novel. He is also a regular contributor to The Spectator and The Sunday Times. Coleridge is a passionate advocate for the fashion industry and has been involved in numerous initiatives to promote British fashion. He is a patron of the British Fashion Council and a trustee of the Royal Academy of Arts. He is also a member of the British Fashion Council's Advisory Council and a member of the British Fashion Council's International Advisory Board.
