Golriz Ghahraman
Golriz Ghahraman is a New Zealand politician and human rights lawyer. She is the first refugee elected to the New Zealand Parliament, and the first female MP of Iranian descent. Ghahraman was born in Tehran, Iran, and fled with her family to New Zealand in 1989 as a refugee.
