Fredrik Logevall
Fredrik Logevall is an American historian and professor at Cornell University. He is a leading expert on the history of the Vietnam War and U.S. foreign policy in Southeast Asia. He is the author of several books, including the Pulitzer Prize-winning Embers of War: The Fall of an Empire and the Making of America's Vietnam (2012). He has also written extensively on the Cold War, the Kennedy administration, and the history of U.S. foreign relations. Logevall has been a visiting professor at Harvard University, the University of California, Berkeley, and the University of Tokyo. He is a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and the Council on Foreign Relations. He has received numerous awards, including the Bancroft Prize, the Arthur S. Link-Warren F.
