Julie Andrews

Julie Andrews is an English actress, singer, and author. She is best known for her iconic roles in musical films such as Mary Poppins, The Sound of Music, and Victor/Victoria. She has won numerous awards for her work, including an Academy Award, two Golden Globe Awards, three Grammy Awards, and a BAFTA Award. Andrews began her career as a child actress in the 1940s, appearing in films such as Star!, The Americanization of Emily, and Hawaii. She then went on to star in the Broadway musicals My Fair Lady and Camelot, and won a Tony Award for her performance in the latter. In 1964, Andrews starred in the classic Disney film Mary Poppins, for which she won an Academy Award for Best Actress. She then starred in The Sound of Music in 1965, which became one of the highest-grossing films of all time. Throughout her career, Andrews has also released several albums, written several books, and performed in numerous stage productions. She has been recognized for her work with numerous awards, including a Disney Legends Award, a Kennedy Center Honor, and a Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Film Institute.
