Huda Al-Marashi
Huda Al-Marashi is an Iraqi-American writer, artist, and activist. She is best known for her work on the intersection of gender, culture, and politics in the Middle East. She is the author of the memoir, First Comes Marriage: My Not-So-Typical American Love Story, which chronicles her journey of self-discovery and her experience of navigating two cultures.
