Emma Straub is an American author and bookseller. She is best known for her novels The Vacationers, Modern Lovers, and All Adults Here. She has also written two short story collections, Other People We Married and Fly-Over State. Straub is the co-owner of Books Are Magic, an independent bookstore in Brooklyn, New York. She has been featured in The New York Times, The New Yorker, Vogue, and The Paris Review. Straub is a graduate of Vassar College and the Columbia University MFA program. She lives in Brooklyn with her husband and two children.
