Adam Nicolson

Adam Nicolson is a British author and historian. He is the author of several books, including Sea Room, God's Secretaries, and Sissinghurst: An Unfinished History. He is the grandson of Vita Sackville-West and Harold Nicolson, and the great-great-grandson of the poet Lord Byron. He has written extensively about the history of the British Isles, and his work has been widely praised for its vivid and evocative prose. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature and a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries of London. He has also been awarded the OBE for his services to literature.
